Share your sense of adventure, your passion for the outdoors and your love for the Oregon Coast with our guests at Headlands Lodge and Spa. You will be responsible for dreaming up new adventures and amazing activities, and provide guests with an unforgettable outdoor experience.
You must maintain a current knowledge of the region and local events to help plan and prepare for daily excursions. You will be empowered to create new programs and suggest specialty events based on localities and regional insights. Daily responsibilities include providing riveting hiking tours in all conditions while sharing pertinent and insightful details about the flora, fauna, and local history. Plan future adventures, respond to emails, and coordinate special events for arriving guests.
Front Desk Operations. You will be responsible for maintaining knowledge of front desk procedures including operation of basic computer systems. You will be aware of current occupancy, groups, special occasions, and have the ability to seamlessly transition between Adventure and operating the front desk.
Customer Service. The needs of our guests are priorities each and every day. Proactively seek out opportunities to interact with guests, and suggest relevant activities and adventures. Maintain knowledge of arriving and in house guests who are celebrating special occasions and seek opportunities to recognize them.
Collaboration and Teamwork. You will work collaboratively with your co-workers in various departments to achieve a high standard for customer service. Anticipate opportunities to assist coworker. Demonstrate the ability to communicate verbally and in in written form with your coworkers.
Physical Demands and Environment. Sit and stand long periods of time. Hike up to four miles on various terrain. Lift and carry up to 50lbs. Position works outdoors in various weather conditions and temperatures.
